Sick Child Visit
Same Day Sick Appointments
Slocum Dickson Pediatrics understands a sick child is a time of worry and stress for our families. We offer same day sick appointments for acute illness and have triage nurses available during office hours to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Same day sick appointments are available for scheduling beginning at 9:00 am. If a life threatening emergency is occurring, please call 911.
Policies
- Someone other than the parent or legal guardian may accompany the patient PROVIDED there is a signed note of consent (please pick up at front desk or download)
- Always call ahead for a sick visit. We can almost always accommodate a sick visit the same day you call. Please do NOT walk in. Also, on weekends and holidays, the doctor on call may be at a different office.
- If you schedule an appointment for an illness, please note that a full well-child check-up cannot be done at this appointment. Please schedule a separate appointment for that purpose.
