Hand Therapy

The goal of hand therapy is to rehabilitate the injured or post-surgical hand. Hand therapy also specializes in prevention of cumulative trauma injuries and deformities caused by arthritis. Services available include custom splinting for all hand surgeries and injuries.

Lymphedema Program

Lymphedema is a chronic condition where limbs and other body parts become swollen and often impede a person’s independence. Lymphedema is associated with the lymph nodes and the nodes inability to function at an optimal level, thus causing increased fluid retention. Lymphedema often occurs as a result of birth abnormalities, cancers, and surgeries. Lymphedema management includes specialized treatment by a certified therapist, who will effectively decongest the swollen tissues and assist to restore confidence and functional independence in daily activities.
