New Hartford, NY: Slocum-Dickson Medical Group (SDMG) is excited to announce that, starting October 1, 2026, the laboratory will offer expanded, prioritized lab appointments.
After receiving patient feedback on wait times, Slocum-Dickson has enhanced lab services by expanding lab scheduling. Starting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, Slocum-Dickson patients and non-patients can select convenient appointment times that fit their busy schedules for October 1, 2026, and beyond by using their SDMG MyChart account or calling 315.798.1578. Appointments can be made Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m. at both the Burrstone and Business Park Campuses. Walk-ins are still welcome Monday – Friday, 4 p.m.–6 p.m., and Saturday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–12 p.m., at the lower-level lab on the Burrstone Campus.
“Providing quality lab service for patients is always our goal,” said Anthony Alcantara, Director of Lab Services at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group. “Allowing patients to schedule lab appointments reduces wait times while enhancing their overall experience and allows us to continue to provide quality lab services”.
