Effectively processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. Receives, delivers, and stocks all incoming material to the proper locations. Maintains all of Central Supply and Mailroom daily functions. Processes most purchase requisitions (internal and external) on the computer system.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Distributes all incoming mail to appropriate mail slots. Collects and processes all outgoing mail. Receives in all packages and delivers to the proper locations. Stock shelves and processes purchase requests (internal and external). Weekly cost reports, filing and helping to assure the most optimal pricing for the group. Assist on additional duties requested by the Material Manager. Must keep all work areas clean, safe, and maintained. Will attend OSHA training requirements initially at orientation and annually thereafter.
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS: Must maintain professional, courteous, and efficient working relationship with fellow employees, physicians, vendors, and staff.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: High School Diploma or equivalency certificate. One year’s experience preferred. Computer skills: Outlook, Internet, and Microsoft Excel preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. Extensive walking and standing required.
