Lakeshea Watkins, MA Named Employee of the Quarter
Slocum-Dickson Medical Group has named Lakeshea Watkins, MA Employee of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter of 2019. Lakeisha began her career at Slocum-Dickson in 2008. As a Medical Assistant, Lakeisha has both clinical and clerical responsibilities. She schedules appointments, greets patients, takes vital signs, and ensures a comfortable environment for patients during their visit. She is a vital member of Dr. Celesta Hunsiker’s Internal Medicine office. With over 18 years of experience in the medical field, Lakeshea is often called upon to train new employees. She is always willing to share her clinical skills and knowledge with new staff members and provides valuable feedback to the clinical management team. “Lakeshea is a very dedicated and knowledgeable employee,” noted Grace Panetti, Clinical Director. During Slocum-Dickson’s recent transition to the Epic electronic health record system, Lakeshea played an instrumental role as one of the SuperUsers, providing support to fellow employees throughout the transition. Her exceptional work ethic and positive attitude help maintain the Group’s high standard of patient care.
