Why I Chose Medicine

I entered medicine as a nurse in 1976. I worked as a staff nurse, nursing supervisor, operating room nurse and nurse educator. I was encouraged and inspired to continue my education while working with residence and attending physicians at both Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester and Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
