As a nurse, I have always wanted to help patients live the most healthy lifestyle possible. I decided to become a nurse practitioner in family practice to expand my knowledge and abilities, while also deepening my understanding of the human body and disease.

One fulfilling aspect of being a nurse practitioner is the ability to help others. This profession places many nurse practitioners in a position where they can utilize their skills, knowledge, and expertise to support and care for their patients in many different ways.

My favorite part of Central New York is the restaurants, there is so much great food in this area. I truly love getting together with friends and having dinner. I also love to visit different waterfalls around NYS, I have found this to be soothing as well as something I look forward to. Being in the presence of such natural beauty and soothing sounds allow me to recharge and reset. I enjoy reading to recharge as well, with one of my favorites being “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel Robbins.
