From a young age, I was fascinated by the intricate ways the human body works and equally drawn to the human stories behind every illness and recovery. Medicine felt like the perfect union of science and service — a place where intellectual curiosity meets the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every single day. My decision was shaped by mentors, personal experiences with healthcare in my own family, and the realization that I wanted a career where compassion and knowledge could truly change lives.

I believe in practicing medicine that sees the whole person, not just the diagnosis. My goal is to ensure patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare journey. I am inspired daily by the resilience of my patients, the progress of medical science, and the privilege of being a trusted partner in someone’s health.
I chose my specialty because it allows me to develop long-term relationships with patients while also applying problem-solving skills daily. It’s a field that is on the bleeding edge of medical advancement, blends evidence-based medicine with an understanding of the person behind the diagnosis, and that balance keeps me engaged and fulfilled.
My all-time favorite book is Harry Potter — a timeless tale of courage and friendship. Currently, I’m enjoying Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, which offers a fascinating look at human history. My favorite movie is Forrest Gump — a heartwarming story about kindness, resilience, and life’s unexpected journeys.

What Personal Traits do you have that Help you as a Healthcare Provider?

I bring empathy, patience, and a calm demeanor to my work, paired with curiosity and an eye for detail. I’m also known for my sense of humor, which helps put patients at ease, and my ability to explain complex concepts in a way that feels understandable and reassuring.

I am married with a 4 year old son. My favorite place to visit is Lake Placid. If I weren’t a doctor, I would be a journalist because I love writing and sharing stories that connect people.
