Slocum-Dickson Medical Group to Host Grand Opening Ceremony

Slocum-Dickson Medical Group is excited to announce the addition of its new campus located at 117 Business Park Drive in the LaPolla & Ford Business Park. On May 3, 2023, at 4:30 pm, Slocum-Dickson will be joined at the new campus by the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening.  

The new state-of-the-art campus is centrally located within the community and offers new or expanded services. Select Slocum-Dickson departments have moved from Burrstone Road to the new Business Park Drive campus including the Breast Care Center, Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pediatrics. 

“Our commitment to providing the community with quality care was the driving force behind the new location,” said Dr. Alexander Harris, President of Slocum-Dickson Medical Group. “It improves and expands care locally, and provides us with the opportunity to continue to grow and provide patient-centered care.”

In addition, the new campus has allowed for the expansion of the Slocum-Dickson Imaging department. Select imaging services remain at Burrstone Road, while Mammography has moved to the business park campus. The expanded Imaging department in the business park features cutting-edge technology with the addition of MRI and PET scan machines. The new campus has also welcomed the opening of the Elite Medical Spa and Wellness Institute, which offers services for facial and body aesthetics overseen by a Slocum-Dickson plastic surgeon. The new location welcomed the opening of departments over the last several months and is now fully open.
