New Hartford, NY: Slocum-Dickson Medical Group (SDMG) is happy to announce the addition of the VITROS XT7600 System and a new reservation system for the laboratory.  These additions allow the lab at Slocum-Dickson to meet demand and continue to provide quality care and service for patients.

The VITROS XT7600 is a state-of-the-art machine allowing Slocum-Dickson to increase its broad range of specialized tests to support the needs of primary and specialty care physicians. The fully automated system streamlines productivity, allowing SDMG to meet increased laboratory test demands.

Patients using the SDMG lab will now be able to reserve a spot in line and lower their wait times. The new reservation system is built into Slocum-Dickson’s electronic medical records system and will accept reservations for March 9, 2026, and beyond starting on March 6, 2026. Patients can use their MyChart accounts to make a reservation and view their lab results instantly when the tests are complete. Patients without an account can enroll at sdmg.com/mychart to reserve a spot or walk in for lab services. The ability for patients to reserve a time slot and view their results makes laboratory visits more convenient by cutting down on patient wait times.
