Pediatric Scheduling During Coronavirus Pandemic

The Pediatrics Department will have office hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.  Due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic, Slocum-Dickson Medical Group will continue to take extra precautions to prevent the spread of this virus. In the Pediatrics Department, this includes adjusting the way we schedule patients. We will schedule sick visits and well visits at different times. All well visits will be scheduled in the early morning hours and early afternoon hours. Sick visits will be seen in the late morning and late afternoon.

Your physician’s office will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled. For the time being, nursing staff will continue to call ahead to ask about possible symptoms and coronavirus exposure.

We ask that you assist us in limiting unnecessary traffic throughout our building.  Please do not bring additional adults or siblings to appointments, only 1 attendant per patient is necessary. We also require that everyone over the age of 2 within our facility wear a facemask or other cloth face covering.
