Slocum-Dickson Orthopedic Surgeon John Sullivan, MD is proud to provide surgical treatment for his patients at New York State’s number one ranked hospital for elective total hip/knee surgery, the St. Elizabeth Campus of MVHS. The HANYS Second Quarter 2018 Quality Program Measure Trends Analysis was recently released and ranked the St. Elizabeth Campus of MVHS as number 1 out to 101 eligible hospitals in New York State and 19th out of 2,738 hospitals nationwide for achieving a low complication rate of only 1.6 percent from April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2017 for elective total hip/knee surgery.
Dr. Sullivan has been performing the majority of his procedures at St. Elizabeth since 2013 and has been practicing locally since completing his fellowship at Johns Hopkins in 2004. He, along with fellow orthopedists, have been dedicated to creating a program that would serve as a model for other hospitals, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach that puts patients first and leads to improved outcomes.
Dr. Sullivan continues to strive to provide patients with high quality orthopedic care and an exceptional experience both during office visits at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group and procedures at the St. Elizabeth Campus.
