Roxane Handal-Orefice, MD will be joining the Obstetrics/Gynecology Department of Slocum-Dickson Medical Group

Roxane Handal- Orefice will be joining the OB/GYN Department of Slocum-Dickson Medical Group in January 2021. Dr. Handal-Orefice performs OB and GYN procedures with a focus on high-risk pregnancies (maternal-fetal medicine). She sees patients of all ages and believes in making sure the patient feel cared for and important.

Before joining Slocum-Dickson, Dr. Handal-Orefice attended a fellowship at Columbia University for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and she completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston University Medical Center. She received her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She is a member of the Society of Maternal and Fetal Medicine and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Handal-Orefice also has a Masters Degree in Public Health. She speaks 4 languages (English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole). She is a global health volunteer and continues to give back to Haiti through community volunteer work.
